Step Two

Saturday's intense heat was gone.  The cold front came through in the night and Sunday morning was crystal clear, cool and beautiful.  Time for Step Two.
I got the wall painted in good time.  This was the first time I ever used a paint roller on a pole. I didn't have to kill myself going up and down a ladder and it made a big difference in my energy.  After painting along the bottom and creases in the wall I decided to go for the clothes lines. I did most of the sections but by now the sun was so bright on the wall I couldn't see the pencil lines I used to measure distances between the lines so, I stopped for the day. It's really better in the morning when this whole wall is in the shade (as you can see from the picture above.)  Next step will be to finish the lines and then draw on the quilts/squares  with pencil so I can then paint them as weather and time permits.
