What keeps you young

What keeps you young is the kids. This past four days we've

been to Ceci's dance recital 

 Picked strawberries (and made another pie!)

 filled water balloons and

 had a balloon race down the driveway. This was a good thing on a 93 degree day.  I didn't even mind when the hose got turned on me! 

On a quiet Sunday afternoon we smoke cooked a piece of salmon

Oh, my.  This was so juicy, luscious, tender and wonderful.  I didn't do anything to it but salt, pepper and a pinch, truly just a pinch, of crystal sugar.  It didn't take but 45 minutes to reach perfection.  This was a winner.
