The Fir Tree by Hans Christian Andersen. Translated by Tiina
Nunnally. Illustrated by Sanna Annukka
The Fir Tree was first published in 1845 and like I always
tell the kids at school, “the good ones last.”
The story of the Fir Tree is, of course, universal. We don’t know what we had till we lost
it. What you are buying with this new
version is the illustrations. They are magnificent!
