Halloween Birthdays

This past weekend was Charlie's last soccer game and today is his birthday so we all went to cheer him on. I can't believe he is already 11.  Blink and it's gone.

While Ceci was showing me the teeth she already lost, I told her she had a snaggle one just waiting to come out.
A couple of hours later the score was Ball 1, Ceci 0.  She kept saying, "it's a really big hole!"
And if partying all day Sunday wasn't enough excitement, last night's ideal trick or treat weather brought out fairies and black kitties and hoards of  kids.   We may live just two blocks away from these two but this house is at the top of a steep, twisty, dark driveway and we don't even pretend we might get treat seekers.  We go down the street and walk with the girls.  Fun stuff!

  1. It looks like your life never stops moving along with all those adorable grandchildren. I have also admired your progress on the baseball awesome quilts. An inventive mind such as yours will always find a way to conquer, something to admire!
