This is not us! But it is still in Michigan! We had a big storm, up north it was a blizzard that dumped this kind of snow in the city of Marquette, on the shores of Lake Superior, about 7 hours north of me, here in Lowell. This is why I will never, ever visit the U.P. (Upper Peninsula) in the winter. Even if you LIKE winter I don't understand this.
So, Australia friends who are dealing with 100 degree heat, at least you don't have to shovel it. In the U.P. there is nowhere to go but up. Literally.

I've been to Marquette. Those people in the UP are certainly hearty.
ReplyDeleteNever say never - your close enough to get lake effect snow! (We usually aren't, but not always.) I'm looking forward to having 4 days in a row off here soon - thank goodness I'm a quilter so I have something to snuggle under, that I have cats to join me as we keep each other warm and a stash of books to last months!
ReplyDeleteOh yes love this photo. 37deg cel here today.
ReplyDeleteNo, I wouldn’t like to deal with that snow either. We had a warm 31deg Celsius today. This is what I would prefer.
ReplyDeleteBoth kids said OMG they didn’t like the thought of shovelling
ReplyDeleteWowza! It is beautiful (after it is shoveled). You have a lot more snow than Utah right now.
